I attended WGU from 1/2016 to 4/2017. I earned a MS in Management and Leadership. For me it was very hard.. I was 55 years old the brain does not work at 55 like it did when it was 25. I ran into a situation where I was consulting and making full time money on part time hours and so I decided to go back to school and earn a Masters. It is rigorous. I worked part time for 6 months and then was able to devote full time for six month (Unemployment) You will work your ass off. Could I have done this at 25…………………………..not in 14 months. But it is challenging and when you finish you have a sense of accomplishment…..(and of course a degree) It is so much less expensive than most other colleges I think it is a great deal. Just keep in mind you will have to work. You do have to meet with a mentor weekly and since I only had one, I can only speak for her and She was great! Go Molly!
You must be self-motivated for WGU

The program was very educational, but I would advise anyone thinking about attending WGU to be highly self-motivated. There are not a lot of deadlines, so the student him or herself must be motivated to set goals and work to achieved them on schedule. If you like to put-work, go to another school. The work is hard, but not impossible and the education compares favorably with other graduate schools I have attended. It is an excellent value tuition wise.
