Walden University

Upon first entering Walden, I thought from reviews on Facebook that it would be a great school - NOT! Not only are the professors inconsistent with assignments and interpretation of APA, but when you disagree with a professor, you are then subject to having a poor grade. And the Program Director is not any better! No matter what, there not looking out for the student, they are looking out for themselves! And like other reviewers have pointed out, the people that are suppose to help, don't or can't! I wish I had read these reviews prior to beginning at this school. I regret the day that I accepted the offer. But I will not continue to make this mistake and I would advise anyone and everyone DON'T attend this school, it is a nightmare. You may get a true professional professor, and you may not, and you should play Russian rue-let with your education. It is not worth it! RUN, stay away! You will be the better for it!

I'm currently enrolled at Walden University in their MPH program. I am in my 9th quarter with them (a little over a year) and I have had a great experience. Enrolling into Walden was very easy with their rolling enrollment. I didn't have to take any of the standardized tests that many U.S. Graduate programs require. I have noticed a growth in myself professionally and knowledge through the courses I have taken. I love that Walden is completely online and they include your books in tuition. They have a great IT program that will help with any technical problems at any time of day. I would reccommend Walden to anyone looking for an online degree.

They can't even get you registered for classes in time before your course starts. They make excuses about how they are going to send your paper work in and then you have to chase after them to get the work done. Then just when you think you are registered you can't sign in on the day of classes. I started the registration process at least a month before classes. I have never had so many problems just starting an online course. They can't even send you your course materials before the start date.

I completed my BSBA degree at Walden. My first issue with Walden was the surprise of finding I needed 3 additonal classes after I completed my Capstone and was set to graduate. I petitioned this issue for months and ultimately had to take the courses. I completed my degree in May of 2008 and have yet to receive my diploma. Every six weeks I am told the same story...please confirm your address...no one advised the graduation department...etc. I wish I had never attended...yet again..maybe I did not since I don't have diploma. It has been eight months and I am being told wait 8 more weeks. Stay away!
