Use of Technology:
I am a distance learning MBA-student, living outside the USA. UTD has exceptional online and downloadable lectures. Professors and teacher assistants provide prompt and adequate feedback and discussion opportunities. Feedback is usually within 24 hours and the helpdesk is always available. UTD makes great use of technology such as online chat rooms and discussion rooms for students taking the same course and for all registered students. This allows me to network with students and university employees although I am living outside the USA. You could also take self test quizzes online and follow your progress in the program and in individual courses. Two less desirable points are that you still have to purchase textbooks for all courses (which could be pretty expensive), and not all exams are online. Most exams are online, but some exams have to be taken at a proctored side. The plus to this is that it is pretty easy to schedule exams at a proctor side in my home country. I am scheduled to graduate this year. I have a great experience with UTD.
