Run from this school. Credits do not transfer and the faculty is subpar. I know a former faculty member who taught for four years in the associate's degree program, and she mentioned it was a joke. They give the online instructor's the format, the person never read the book, or papers. It was just a good why to to collect a little change on the side.

I currently acquired my degree in human services, I would not recommend this school to anyone, the reason why i finished is cost, I was already 4 classes away from graduating so figured I would just complete it. We had a hurricane in August of 2011, I wasn't able to finish assignments because of power outages, they said I would owe them if I withdrew so of course I failed, I has NO way of completing anything as the entire city was down for 3 weeks, so I had to repay for the course I failed, now it is May, I WILL GRADUATE NEXT WEEK AND THEY STILL OWE ME MONEY, SOMETHING ABOUT A LATE DISBURSEMENT PAPER I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF. My new college will only accept half of the credits, they will not all transfer over from UOP and not many employers recognize it as a valid school so I feel I wasted my money!! I am so mad. Please think twice before you attend or if you do attend PLEASE tell them you want to manage your OWN funds!!

This school is basically still funcitioning because it accepts anyone who has enough money to afford their tuition. People who are serious about obtaining a degree will not attend this school. This school seems to be intended for those students who can't make the grade at a real university. In my classes, I noticed a majority of my classmates weren't even aware of how to construct a proper sentence and almost all of them were horrible with grammar. If you're currently attending this school and you can relate to anything I've just typed, GET OUT NOW! You're too smart for this school. No joke. This school is only in business for those people who can't excel in a real university. Not all online/distance learning schools are like this, please do your "homework", and find a new school. Check PBS.org for a special concerning this school as well. It's a diploma/degree mill, that's it! Your "professors" aren't even holding a Master's degree or PhD. How are they able to teach you anything? Also, I'd beware of ANY school that doesn't require text books.

I wished that I would have checked the status of this school before I started. I have been attending here for a year and a half. When I first started everything was good, I recieved calls every week from the counselors. I had a 3.7 GPA. Everything was going great up until my last two classes. I had a death in the family in the second wk of my class, so I let the instructors and the counselors know what I was going through and instead of them trying to sympathize with what I was going through the first thing they told me was if you drop the class then you would owe us money. Despite what I was going through I finished those two set off classes and started two more. I started these two classes and it seems as if the instructor was confused as to what she wanted us to do. In our first wk we had a assignment where we had to define the terms but, the defintions had to be in our own words as to what they mean to us. She gave me a incomplete because she said those were the incorrect terms. What I don't understand is how could my defintion be wrong if it is how I understand what the word to mean. Two weeks after this assignment we had a paper due. I read the materials that they provided us with as our online books. I wrote my paper and recieved a 0%. I was told that I searched the internet and copied 47% of paper from someone else and I tried to turn it in as my own. Me and the instuctor had words about this for two weeks. I contacted my academic counselor and explained everything to her and she told me that if I started another class or drop the class that I would have to pay for the drop class and or the new class and the dropped class. I let that go because it was like a back and forth war that I was the only one playing far in. I sent an email on friday to find out what I need to do to drop my other classes after I am done with these two classes. I get a call on monday from the Finance department talking about I owe them money because they gave me back to much money for refund. The lady was being very rude and customer services skills was very bad. She told me that if I didn't give them the money back that I couldn't start my next set of classes. I told her that was fine because after I was done with the two that I was currently in I was done with their school. Now she tells me that I would have to pay them for my current two classes that I am taking now plus the next two. I just don't understand how all of a sudden I owe them money once I let them know that I was going to with drawn. People beware of that school because it is just another rip off. I won't every tell anyone else to go there.
