Ultimate Medical Academy

UMA has proven to be an institution of higher learning. I completed my Associates in Science in Medical Billing Coding in 2013, and turned right around to accomplish my Associates in Science in Pharmacy Technician of which I am completing now. The Instructors and Advisors at UMA proved to be top notch. The instructors not only know about the course material, but work or have worked in the field of study as well. I think this is important, having instructors with experience as well as knowledge of the course they are teaching give you the student an upper hand in learning. The Advisors at UMA stay in contact with you every step of the way; you never feel alone. They encourage you, but they don't let you get lacks in your commitment. My advisors kept me focused on my goal, and gave me the necessary steps to keep going. UMA uses technology in a way that if you simply following the course material, attend classes through the Starfish, you will exceed. Ultimately though, you as the student must put forth effort, you must utilize the opportunities that UMA presents to you. I hope that UMA will continue to push forward by establishing a Bachelors' Program. I will be back if they do.
