HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I just finished my degree a few weeks ago, and had no financial aid problems nor advisor issues encountered. They respond quickly to your concerns. The case assignments and session long projects are challenging and definitely requires effort from your end. No spoon feeding. This school is highly recommended for military families who are most likely go through moving a lot. I'd highly recommend this regionally accredited school.

Great Experience!

I had a great experience! I graduated in 18 months with a Masters in Health Science. The advisors were supportive and whenever I called or emailed my questions were always answered. Everyone from the financial aid office to the registrars worked hard to answer every question or respond within 24 hours. All of the instructors (except for one in my opinion... Dr. Peter Haried) were very fair. Each provided constructive feedback and timely grading so that you would know how to improve. I graduated with a 3.9, receiving an A in all classes except for one. I would definitely recommend Trident University International as a great place to continue your education for any working professional. Although the majority of the students were from the military, it was a great experience for me, a civilian.

I recently completed the MSHS degree and it took me 32 months. This program was as difficult as comparable programs at brick and mortar State Universities and took about as long. I worked extremely hard and graduated with honors. The professors were thoughtful but did not give away grades, and they do not spoon feed you but were always available to answer questions. The advantages of TUI is relatively low cost and they provide all the learning materials which means no texts to purchase! You can literally go anywhere in the world with a laptop and internet access and complete your degee and pay as you go. My money was well spent!

GOOD SCHOOL

I liked this school it served me well. I do find it strange that some comments, especially the negative ones seem to be written by the same person. This school has graduated many individuals; just because one person is angry doesn’t mean the school should be dismissed in its entirety.

CHES Earned After Course Completion

I keep seeing people say that this school is not recognised by professional certifying bodies and have to think these posts must be made by other schools or by people who have failed out. I had an MPH from another institution and applied to become CHES through NCHES and was told that I lacked enough background courses in the field. I promptly enrolled in and completed Tridents graduate certificate program and passed the CHES exam the first time out. This lead to my current position as a Health Educator. I am now taking the PHD program at Trident and it is NOT easy. Some classes have been A's, some A-, and some B's depending on how well I do the assignments.

I have completed all course work and am slated to receive my MSHS with a Public Health emphasis. I would recommend Trident University to my colleagues. I have been changed by attaining the goal but feel the course content has been the real value. I have been impressed by the quality of the programs professors and their various backgrounds. The biggest compliment I can offer is that I WOULD do it all again!

Trident University (formally TUI) Critique

Master Health Science - October 3, 2011

Let's be honest, Trident is an on-line University; however, that doesn't mean you cannot get a formal education, it just takes greater effort, committment and support. If you have a busy life and the traditional "brick-mortar" institutions just don't fit, I highly suggest Trident University. They provided me the avenue to fulfill and life long dream of completing a degree. As a retired Navy Corpsman and from a family of 15 siblings, college seemed a distant dream, but I did it and so can you! I finished my BS in 2005 and my Masters (MSHS) in 2010 and still taking classes!! Excellent learning medium, professional support administratively as well as the Professors. I cannot say enough good things about Trident. Give me a chance, listen to them, listen to me I am a living example that you can do it! I have a GREAT career managing a medical laboratory and my satisfaction level is off the chart! I highly suggest you go to college and if you do give Trident University a call.

I am one class away from completing my MSHS in Public Health and have had a great experience! Since starting my degree we have moved 3 times, my spouse has deployed for 7 months, and I have had a baby. TUI has been very flexible with working with me when I needed it, all while providing a solid education! They also have a great military discount that is offered to spouses.

This school has been so good to me. I am thrilled. The Professors are all products of top-notch Universities and have taught at similar institutions. The classes are challenging, the environment is friendly. I never feel harassed by the financial aid dept, and feel that my immediate concerns are always addressed. Great place.

Currently working on my last course towards my Masters and it feels great! The Support at TUI is incredible. They are reliable, professional and friendly. The Professors take a vested interested in assuring you are satisfied and more importantly that you are learning. I have and continue to fully endorse TUIU and what they offer. If your up to a challenge, disciplined to study and resposible enough to step up to another level, then TUIU is for you! I've got to get back to my studies and so should you! GO TUIU!!

Just Started MHS EM Certificate

I just completed my first class toward a Emergency and Disaster Management Grad Certificate. This summer I registered for two more classes. After completing Issues in Terrorism, I'm ready for my summer session to begin. My classmates made inciteful comments during the online discussions. They all seemed to have different levels of experience from military to civilian in the health care industry. Since I'm specializing in Terrorism I believe this along with my experience is gonna put me in a great position to get a job as an EM analyst or trainer. TUI is a top notched school.

I completed both a MBA and a MSHS through Touro before retiring from the Navy. Since retiring I have landed a great job at a local Medical Foundation. My education through Touro is what did it for me. If it wasn't for that I believe I would be suffering from the recession just like so many other people. The education I got prepared me for top leadership positions in the Health Care industry.

I recently completed my MSHS in HEalth Care Management with TUI. Learned a lot and had a great experience completing my Masters Degree. My biggest complaint with the school is the Name.....TUI. I just tell everyone that I graduated from Tooie University in California (Name recognition in an educational institution is important). At least when the name was Touro University International....it had a romantic ring to it, but TUI....Bad choice for a name.

I started at Touro in 2006 and completed my BS in Health Sciences while deployed. The school was very helpful in the TA and GI Bill process. After completing my BS I went on to their MS program. The programs are writing extensive but informative and the course material is the best not to mention reasonable tuition and their military discount program. I also completed a BS with a well-konown residency based university but my Touro degree was most useful for job purposes. Only thing I dislike is the name change.

Top Notch College, Top Notch Education!

TUI University is the most educational online college. The instructors really promote learning and are committed to excellence. All of my instructors were committed to my excellence and were very hard on my assignments at the Master's level. I completed my Bachelor's degree with Touro when it was 'International' and they were a little less strict on the grading but overall committed to my education. The instructors that I had in the BSHS program became my mentors--particularly Dr. Legg and Dr. Rhynders. When I enrolled in the MSHS program after graduation they were right there for me. They guided me through the program, research, and information dissemination. They also taught me how to compose my papers and synthesize my research. They also spent their personal time advising me on the CHES exam and how to apply my education to pass the exam. I decided not to buy the study guide for the national certification and instead focused on the teachings, advice, and study material they personally wrote for me IN MY STYLE OF LEARNING. I passed the exam with a 93% out of 100%. We are still friends and they both are encouraging me to enroll in the Ph.D. program. Also, Dr. Neumann sends me inquiry emails about my success and lifestyle changes. I am a military spouse and they gave me a big discount on my courses. Ms. Kaing in FA also walked me through all funding sources every semester. They were sure to mail me all documentation with postage paid envelopes. They also always followed up with me concerning due dates, paperwork, and FAFSA. By no means is anything perfect, but Touro toes the line and they are invested in their students and education. They faculty and staff are all very educated and invested in the university's success. I did not graduate on time due to an instructor knowing my potential and demanding it of me. He refused to accept anything less than excellence and actually failed me! I had to re-take the course and you had better believed I did the work and was rewarded. I have since landed my dream job as a Community Health Executive Director and it is fabulous. I am rewarded every single day by what I do and Touro University is responsible for helping me to achieve my educational goals. Hats off TUI!!

TUI is great. I have been attending for a year now and find it challenging yet rewarding. If you do not like to write and research then this is not the college for you. If you love reading and doing research you will be okay. Keep up with assignments and don't fall behind. I like my experience so far.
