I came to this school with 89 college credits to transfer, and they accepted 86, thus starting me off on a great note. You can take one or more classes at one time with each class being a standard 15-wk semester length. At the beginning of class, you get the entire curriculum and are able to finish quickly or take the entire 15 weeks. Most classes contain 4-6 units, with each unit requiring you to read from the textbook and write a 2-5 page paper. Some classes require a proctored exam at course end, but most are in the form of a written paper. Most professors are very good and return emails within a few days or less. Every student is assigned an academic adviser who assists in signing you up for each class, takes care of tuition assistance paperwork, and tracking your overall progress. Also, most classes require you to answer a question for each unit on their online discussion board, as well as respond to another student's post. Tuition is low for a 4-yr private college (under $300/credit hr for undergrad and between $300-400/credit hr for graduate level courses). Military also gets special discounts. I completed 14 classes here in order to finish my degree and HIGHLY recommend this school.
Keep going

Shortly after beginning my first course, I realized that this was a huge mistake. Consider this, for an MBA to have some creedence and acceptability in the working world, it should be accredited by AACSB, this progam does not have this accreditation. The course's, at least the one I started with, are taught using the "socratic method". This method, from what I could gather, does not require the instructors full attention, rather the answers are critiqued by the cohorts in the program. The value is there, but be warned, you pay for what you get. Also, if you do enroll a piece of advice, get the textbooks from another source. The bookstore endorsed by the school, EdMap, prices the books very high and is not market competitive. Your counselor should tell you this, but they do not as a general practice.

This program is exactly what I was looking for. An MBA in Leadership is exactly what is missing in today's business marketplace...and this program is a great fit. The classes are online and the support services are the best I have experienced in higher education. An academic advisor is assigned to each student, and they help guide you through the entire program. All in all I would recommend this program to anyone looking for an affordable MBA at a distance.
