National Design Academy

I was made redundant and took the opportunity to change my career. I'd always had an interest in interior design but never considered studying for a degree as i couldn't afford all the time off work. The redundancy made me take stock - this course by the National Design Academy was accessed through their Diploma, which only took me 6 months to complete. From here I was able to enrol on the Foundation Degree. This is accessed online through their own online system (VLS), I could work at my own pace, and even started a new job to help me earn money whilst I studied. I absolutely loved the course and graduated last year and have now started the BA (Hons). This course, the tutors and the stuff I've learnt has given me so much confidence in myself and my abilities! I plan to set up my own business, and have started to make real plans to turn this dream into a reality. I can't thank the National Design Academy enough for creating a course that can be studied online, cheaper than university fees - and you can even work at the same time!! OK, it's distance learning, so you don't get the social side of things - but it suited me down to the ground and i haven't looked back!
