I was a little nervous about getting my degree. Coastline took all of my fears away and made the entire process totally painless. When I called for assistance someone personally walked me through the problem. I am so glad that I found Coastline. You should definitely look into attending.

After 2.5 years and 56 credits going on 3 years and 68 credits with a 3.6 GPA I can tell you the real deal at CCC. The school overall could be exceptional if not for this one big problem. Good luck getting letters of recommendation come transfer time from instructors or counselors. So this means if you are the kind of student who wants to go to a prominent four year university as a transfer where such support is needed, good luck. Instructors either tell you they don't if they really don't know you very well or won't respond to your emails and that is the same with the counselors. I guess there are just too many students and not enough faculty to fulfill this need and they can't come straight out and tell yo that.

Just completed my degree in Human Resources Management! CCC was very military friendly and the guidance from the reps were great. I have been out of school for over 14 years, so as intimidating as it was CCC made it all worth while.

This online school experience has been an amazing one. What sold me on this school from the very beginning was the $50.00 textbook vouchers. College books are SO EXPENSIVE and here I paid $50 each term and received all my books virtually free. I must say I was a bit scared when I decided to go back to college, and the thought of attending an online college was very intimidating based on what I have heard from others. I would recommend this school to any military person, or military spouse. If you have self discipline and can set aside time each week for your courses you will do fine. For the most part, the instructors are very helpful, and I have learned a great wealth of knowledge during my time here at Coastline Community College. I have recommended this college to all my military family and friends. Even my husband who also is in the military is going here. You can't go wrong attending here

One of the greatest parts of this school is that they actually have real offices with a real staff. With many online schools, the professors have one or several "primary" occupations, which mean they grade papers, check emails and answer calls on weekends only. My classes were straight foward, the school accepted many of my Navy education credits and taking classes aboard ship/overseas was very simple. High recommended!

I'm taking courses while deployed through their PDA program. Our cutter doesn't have really good internet connections, so this is an awesome option for me. There's tons of video and course content on a little SD Card. It's awesome! Check it out: http://military.coastline.edu/ Finally a campus that understands deployment issues.

This school is a "Brick and Mortar" community college situated in Garden Grove California, which has an outstanding distance education program for military and non-military alike. Again, let me say that this college is EXTREMELY military friendly. The Military Outreach Program currently accepts 40 transfer credits from military training for a host of valuable Associates degree programs with MAJORS. Many of the other military degree completion programs out there give most degrees in “General Studies or Liberal Studies of Applied Sciences” style degrees. Not that this are issues with these programs but having a major (or dual major in my case) in my opinion has greater utility for many of the military occupations out there. Additionally, CCC constantly bend over backward to help the students overcome time a deployment constraints which I found very helpful. Although I am in the Army, CCC has many outstanding Navy ratings degree programs as well. Visit their website and see for yourself, that this is one outstanding Community College! My degrees through this program; Associates of Arts: Marketing and Sales Associates of Arts: Health Sciences
