Chamberlain College of Nursing

I just completed the RN - BSN. While it is very expensive, it was a very good program and I completed it in under a year. I was able to complete it while working full time - shift work. I would recommend it to others. An added bonus is everything is online, and there are no clinical hours.

This is my first time attending an online school, and so far so good with Chamberlain. The staff (from admissions, financial aid and the professors) have been very helpful, friendly and professional. Questions are answered quickly and accurately. The professors are knowledgable and professional as well. The course work is what the student makes of it. It can be difficult for some and easy for others. I believe it is a matter of what is interesting for the student, as to how "hard" a subject is. The math courses have been very challenging, but I have all kinds of opportunities online for assistance with troublesome areas. ie, electronic textboook, tutoring, examples and of course, my instructor. The cost is expensive, 500 some dollars a credit hour. But for me, it is well worth the expense so I do not have to travel an hour to a traditional college using up gas and having to juggle my schedule with work and family. I am hoping to graduate soon. I have 3 more classes after this 8 weeks. I appreciate what Chamberlain has done for me thus far and I would recommend them for anyone considering a RN to BSN program. I was reviewing online degrees for my husband to attend while on this site and I thought that I should relay this information to others here since Chamberlain had no reviews posted. I am glad to give them a good review and I hope this helps someone.
